Outdoor Learning in Numeracy.
Pr.2/3 have been participating in number talks.
Recently, we took our learning outside and the children worked in pairs to write associated addition and subtraction facts
e.g. 7+2=5, 5+2=7,
7-5=2, 7-2=5.
We used "Number Triangles" for this.
We did the same with multiplication and division facts.
The children enjoyed working together and then checking each other's answers; it generated a lot of talk and helped to focus their thinking.
